One Bad Apple

One rotten apple spoils the bunch, and when that bunch gets served on a golden platter to a whole community, that apple’s poison spreads like disease amongst the unsuspecting citizens.

As those apples age, the rot only festers and grows and when those rotten seeds get planted and take root, it’s that much harder for the stench of that first apple to go away.

Now all new apples grow from that one strong tree, sprout from the stem turned branches of that original bad apple. How could they know anything different from disease. And, how can that community ever understand the taste and smell of a fresh clean apple, if all they have come to know is rot?
