I have been thinking of ways to make this whole wordpress thing more than just a storage place for semi-regular sad poetry, and finally I have something.
Introducing Semi-Employed! My new weekly blog!
In this blog series, I will recount my struggles as a semi-employed millennial in the job market. I’ll discuss being a “freelancer,” having a too long unpaid internship, and working as a part time job applicant. The first official post will be about my thoughts on the implications of my recent decision to get a tattoo in a very visible area while still seeking permanent employment!
Don’t worry, I will still be posting sad poetry because I genuinely suffer from depression and poetry is one of my only saving graces, and when people like that sad poetry it is extremely validating.
The first post will most likely go out tomorrow. I will post every Wednesday, so follow my account if you like it or like me or want to wallow in the despair of being mostly unemployed a year out of college.
